My 3x grandfather George Fellows was born c1813 source death cert he was born in pett /Fairlight /Guestling not sure i have parents as Henry Fellows & Lydia Neeves now i am not to sure can any one help with this i sent away for his death cert thinking it would confirm parents but it didnt i would like now to confirm his parentage Thanks Harriet Huh

Marriage certificate should give his father but date is probably before 1837

Is he the George Fellows living in Pett in the 1881 census RG11 1021/131 page 8

Yes George married georgina branscombe 1835 St Clements Hastings  is a marriage cert easy to obtain harriet

Marriage certificates can not be obtained prior to 1837 - the start of civil registration.

According to the Parish Registers, they were not married in St Clements as you suggest, but in the church at Pett as follows:-

Location: Pett, East Sussex,  Date:  6 Sep 1835:
Groom: George FELLOWS
Bride: Georgina BRANSCOMB of St Clements, Hastings.

Unfortunately m. certificates not avaliable until after sep 1837.    But there is still a possible chance if you can identify one of Georges siblings,  perhaps from census data that may have married after this date.
