PIDGEON and HADLOW at Batford Mill

Hello helpers

I have a death cert 1923 with this address

No 4 St George's Cottages,
Batford (Mill?)
Nr Harpenden
rural district of Wheathampstead.

Resident was Rose PIDGEON who was the informant
for Frederick HADLOW 72years (Rose was his daughter)

Please can you tell me if the cottages exist?

Batford Mill certainly still exists.  It is an area on the outskirts of Harpenden.  I'll have a look and see if I can find the cottages - I would say it was unlikely as it is quite built up around there now with a lot of industrial units and so on.
