Looking for selby ancestors

 Grin Hi I am looking for my selby ancestors and the farthest I have gotten is THOMAS SELBY born around 1801-02 in rempstone notts, he married  ALICE SELBY not sure if WARDLE was her maiden name or not. Children were at the time Benjamin selby born 1830 in rempstone,notts,John selby b. around 1843 and was a cotton hose seamer and was born in loughborough and then elizabeth,same job and also born in loughborough. I was wondering if anyone could find out who his parents were and when Thomas and alice got married along with birth and deaths. Thanks in advance Wink

The only likely marriage showing on the Notts Marriage Index is Thomas Selby/Alice Price at Gotham 19.1.1829.  There are no Alice's showing at Rempstone.

Thank you robin hood,Alice was born in gotham so maybe its the right person. I was wondering if you could find out who her parents were and also that of Thomas selby??

Nothing on my Indexes but there are two possibles on the IGI at Family Search.
Alice Price christened 20.9.1800 At Gotham, Parents John/Mary
Thomas Selby christened 6.10.1799 at Rempston, Parents Benjamin/Sarah.
