1851 cencus

i am trying to find  ann hill and james lafferty in greenock
             they did not marry until 1862 but had three children together prior to their marrige
               ann s parents  were robert hill and nancy glover , james s daniel lafferty and deborah williamson
             i belive that ann and james were living as a couple by 1851
              thanks so much  love christine

Yes they were living as a couple in the 1851 Census-

JAMES LAFFERTY-    27
ANN LAFFERTY  -     24

PARISH- GREENOCK, DISTRICT 439, BOOK 76, PAGE 15.

No Parents in Greenock as no children yet!

             this is another little mystery , ann had her first baby in 1852 when she was 13
                i have her as born in 1839
ill have to double check this lol
