Edward HOTCHKISS/Elizabeth BODEN, Wentnor/Chirbury, Late 1700s

I think that Edward Hotchkiss who married Elizabeth Boden in Chirbury in 1762 (IGI) might be the same who is buried in Acton Scott churchyard.
His headstone records him dying Jan 3 1810 aged 84 and Elizabeth as dying 12 dec 1816 age 78. The stone records him as a Blacksmith.

On the IGI the following children are listed; Ann (1763) Edward (1764) Thomas Boden (1767) Susannah (1770) Richard (1773 died 1774) Mary (1775) John (1778) Betty (1780) Hannah (1784). All except Hannah were baptised in Wentnor, Hannah was baptised in Acton Scott.

I think that John became the Blacksmith of Acton Scott after his father and he is also buried at Acton Scott (died 7 Sep 1846 age 67 years). John is my GGGG grandfather

If this rings a bell with anyone or you have any information that might back up or shatter my theory please let me know! Also have various info on the Hotchkiss family of Acton Scott to share if anyone is interested.

Cheers,
Jason
