Hi, Everyone, Have just had a go on the newly-on-line 1861 Census on the Scottishpeoples website, and am very excited to have discovered a Thomas DYSON whom I never knew about... I've since traced him on the 1871, 1881 and 1891 Censuses (he moved to Lancashire some time between 1871 and 1881), but cannot find him on Scottishpeoples amongst the baptisms. Would anybody have an entry for him for c. 1849/50 in the Dunoon area (Innellan is given on the 1881 Census)? Very best wishes, Keith

Hi Keith, I expect you´ve checked, but no Dyson comes up in Argyllshire on the 1841 Free cen site. Sorry for that bombshell!
Good hunting,
Thrall.

Hi, Thrall, Thanks so much for looking there for me, Thrall. I've since learned that Thomas DYSON moved to England by 1881, so presumably died and was buried in or near Bolton some time after 1901 when he is living and working in Bolton, Lancs... very best wishes, Keith
