Looking For Information On William Cowles born about 1809, Father John Cowles. eg 1851 Censes, 1861 Censes. PLus anything to do with the Cowles in Westbury on Seven.

No Cowles in Westbury on Severn in 1841. This could be your man though, no other possibility in Gloucs.

Hi Andy,could this be them.Cant find them on the 1851 census.

1861 census

William Cowles head age 52 born abt.1809  Labourer
Elizabeth wife age 50 born abt.1811 in Churcham
Harriet daughter age 12 born abt.1849 in Huntley
Elizabeth daughter age 9 born abt.1852 in Blaisdon

All living at 45 Cottage,Westbury on severn,Blaisdon,Glous.

On the 1851 census there is a John Cowles b.1773 in Wheatenhurst,Glous. with wife Ann b.1781in Blagdon,Somerset.Probably the wrong John completely but the dates seem possible and maybe it is near Westbury.
