Trying to find ancestry of a Robert Johnstone born about 1816. The Mormon vital records index has a possible as born 28 October 1816 in Rerrick, along with four siblings - Matilda, James, William and Thomas. All have parents of Robert Johnstone and Janet Culten. Any corroborative evidence would be helpful ,e.g. OPR or any other info.

I have a ROBERT JOHNSTONE b 1816 @ Girthon  KKD         Iron fittter.

he married a MARGARET HOGG from Lanarkshire Glasgow,

I have no other information on his parents.

Could there be a connection.
