Athgarvan in Co Kildare

Athgarvan is a hamlet/small village in Kildare near Kilcullen. Could someone please tell me what parish and townland it is in.

Hello Leofric,

Athgarvan is near Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
It is shown in http://www.seanruad.com by two names -
Athgarvan and Blackrath or Blackrath and Rathgarvan.
It covers an area of 617 acres. Barony : Connell
Civil Parish: Great Connell. Poor Law Union: Naas

What is the name of the family you are researching? I presume they came from Athgarven. Would you like assistance tracing information about that family or other ancestors who may have had Irish connections?

My ancestors did come from Athgarvan. I needed the Townland so that I could look up the family on the 1911 census.
