Hi

Found a LODGE I cant account for in the Family Bible:

Hemmingley (it looks like)  LODGE died  3rdOct 1854 aged 3 years and 8 months.
So 'if' my sums are correct ?  he/she was born about February 1851.

So they should be in the 1851 Census aged about 1-2 months old.
Would assume Roxwell as the person who wrote the details was from there. If not Essex somewhere.

Wonder if anyone can find Hemmingley please?

Yes it could be one of them  Smiley  and possibly some new relatives as well, great!

There was another baby 'Maria Lodge' mentioned but she was born and died between the Census, unfortunately.

I will do a request for 1841 to see if that might connect James & Rebekah Lodge to Thomas or John above.  Failing that will wait till I can get down to Essex and look myself.
