Some useful online sources for Births, Deaths and Marriages which I hope will be of use ...

FamilySearch (also referred to as the IGI/LDS/Mormon Records)
www.familysearch.org

Baptisms/Marriages (some Births dates associated with Baptisms)

Although this resource is incomplete the coverage of parish records is explained in this section http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHLC/frameset_fhlc.asp - using the keyword to enter the church or parish name can be useful.
This organisation has filmed copies of many parish records that are not available online – you can order and view these at your local Family History Centre which are spread around the world, the locations and contact details of which can be searched here http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHC/frameset_fhc.asp
