I  hope some one can help me, i am trying to find infomation that my late mother told me that she had one or two cousins killed in WW 2.
I have no names of them except that one was born in donegal in ireland? and one in Scotland in or around Glasgow.
All i have is there father was called Patrick maybe a record of parents might show up, i tried the Scotland page with out much luck i think your my last resort with so little infomation  i have

on the CWGC site there is a Patrick Joseph Harkin
Royal Inneskillen Fusiliers
his parents names are Patrick and Catherine Harkin
of Ardstraw County Tyrone Northern Ireland
he died 1940 aged 24
Elaine
there is also this one
John Smith Harkins
Fireman in the Merchant Navy
Parents Patrick and Mary Ann Harkins
he died 1942 aged 19

This is a more likely possibilty for Co. Donegal one:
Hugh C. HARKIN, son of ohn J. & Maria Harkin of Carndonagh, Co. Donegal (also Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers)

Possible one for Scottish cousin:
Charles HARKIN, son of Frank & Madge Harkin

Thank you for all your help.
My cousin come up with maybe Patrick did not marry a local girl as we presumed  Tyrone connection sounds intresting one to follow Big thank you again for all your help
