Help with Marriage Charles Storey Main and Joan

Charles Storey Main was unmarried and living with his parents in 1841, his eldest son's birth was registered December quarter of 1842, their eldest daughter was born 4th May 1845.  Her birth certificate gives her mother's name as Joan formerly Brewis.

Joan was baptised 20 March 1822 at Kyloe,

"Joan, Natural daughter of Margaret Smith, p Kyloe and John Brewis p Doddington, farmer"

I can't find a marriage of Charles and Joan Brewis or Smith.  Glendale register office have checked marriages of Charles (Storey) Main for me and had nothing.  On later census returns Joan is called Jonaha, Joanna and Joan.

The Main family were Roman Catholics, found in Berrington, Haggerston and Berwick baptism registers, but I can't find this marriage.

Can anyone help?
