Its a joy to find new family and friends

Can anyone give me any information on the ship BRISEIS

I know she arrived into Melbourne in October 1855.

Public Record Office in Victoria has her bringing my great, great grandmother here.

Shipping websites show no information on this ship, except for one with the same name that was built nearly 100 years later.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
