Hi Listers, I'm researching my Arstall family of Partington Cheshire, But have just recently received information from a research centre, that the father of William Arstall b. 1827[my gggrandfaather] was named as Hugh Artingstall b.1801. The person that sent me the information states that it is very possible that names are one and the same and changed possibly because of the way it was spoken.
Amongst Hugh's siblings there is one that was born in Manchester but buried in Carrington Cheshire. If there is anyone that is researching Arstall/Artingstall I would love to here from them. Regards Jean

I have a Lavinia Artingstall born 1893 in Droylsden, married Stephen James Astle.
