thanks alan for the information, i am sure that this william is my gg grandmothers brother, i was going to look in the 1901 census but was not sure if it was the right one, the only information i had, which was from the family was that he married a woman from kent. so thanks again glen

I know that in 1881 William was a servant in the village of Cradley, and was born in Lower Sapey, Worcestershire. its strange but i originate from cradley worcestershire, but a different one, as there are two cradleys in worcestershire.
