Hi there
I'm looking for two Millman brothers, Samuel & Simeon, both born in Kingswood, nr Wotton under Edge. Can anyone help please?
Samuel Millman aged about 40 bn Kingswood = Mary Baker?
Simeon Millman aged about 35/37 bn Kingswood, tea dealer = Mary bn Braintree, Essex, aged about 35
Samuel Millman was last seen in the 1841 census at Kingswood aged 20.
Simeon Millman was with his brother at Kingswood aged 15 in the 1841 & aged 47 in 1871 at 34 Winsford St, Bristol with his wife Mary & daughter. He was then a tea dealer.
In the 1871 their dau was named as Annie M Millot (Skiller/Hiller?) unmarried aged 19 staymaker. She may be a child of Mary's before she married Simeon.
I haven't found them in any other census so any information would be a bonus. If Simeon is not in Bristol in 1861 then he may be in Braintree, Essex.
Regards
criggy

Hi there
Thank you very much for taking the time to search. I'm very grateful.
I didn't have Simeon in the 1851 but now I know that Annie was theirs (you have her as Millman in the 1871 & she was obviously born just after the 1851 census was taken) so thanks for that.
Simeon was obviously off somewhere selling tea in the 1861
His father & one of his brothers were commercial travellers & are also missing from the odd census or two so it must be in the blood.
Thanks again, you have been most helpful.
Regards
