What part of Essex are you interested in? The VRI has 44 entries

My great aunt hilda skingle lived in the southend area for many years until her death just last weekend. Skingle was her married name, her husband's first name was Leslie. Any help?

Thanks for a useful list there jaq.
My local library told me that the 1851 & 1861 returns for Takeley were lost. Perhaps they'd just lost their copies
Some of my Takely Skingles are there, as well as a couple I wasn't aware of.
Is the 3 letter code place of birth or residence?
