Am searching for all Cowdray family decendents.Bessie married Frederick Spong 1896 Epsom, Surrey and was living Bicester 1901.Her mother Henrietta left her Father James taking the youngest Hettie to Uxbridge then onto Burnham, Bucks. This left my Gran to bring up the youngest children here in Singleton. Gran (Annie)was the only family member to stay here possibly in the hope of reuniting the family.Bessie in census at ancestry is given as being born Eastbourne but she was born Easebourne/Midhurst Sussex. Thank you for replying and I look forward to hearing from you. I know Jessie married a Kirtland Barber in Hackney around the same time as Bessie married. I remember as a child visiting a lady whom I believe was Flora Kate (Florence). She had a parrot, I thought it might have been in Portsmouth, Hampshire. I know my family contact of Hettie has had contact with Bertha's family but she was not forthcoming in helping me. I would like to one day have contact with all my grandmothers family. I would not be suprised to find any of them living near each other. I have photo's of my grandmother with Ada and Bertha on a visit to Singleton in the early 1950's. I have shared these photo's with all those I have contacted and they have shared theirs with me. Great Grandmother Henrietta went on to have other children under the name of Norrell and I am in contact with all of these. Any help would be most gratefully recieved. I hope some light will be shed when the partial 1911 census is released within the next two years as promised by the National Archives. Once again many thanks,
Diane
