Hi all

Not sure if anyone can help me, but it is worth a shot in the dark Smiley

Looking for a John Stichbury b1795/1796 In sheerness.

Although we have managed to track him down from that date onwards. Finding his birth in parish records has proved fruitless.

Desperate to find out the name of his father. He has been linked to many family groups but none yet conclusive, the only way is to track his birth down.

Any help gratefully received.

There appears to have been a William John "STICKBURY" baptised in the Sheerness Dock Yard Church in 1797 http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~penney/dockyard%20church%20records/s.htm - could that be him?

Have you checked any other churches Huh
