hi, just a quicky - i have a 1891/1871 census request for glamorganhire in wales - i have posted it in the wales section - i have now just seen the census forum - should i have posted in in there? or doesnt it matter? Huh

just wanna make sure i m doing it right  Roll Eyes

Don't worry about  it!!

This is such a super, well run site, that if it isn't in the right place to get the most response,  the lovely people who regulate it , will move it ,  to where it should be!!

Hi Pootle,

Jeannie is correct we can always move a mis-posted message,  and it is not a problem to do so.   Grin

For future reference,  we have people offering lookups to specific recources which are county specific in the relevent counties.  If you spot one and wish to make a request,  you do this in the lookup request part of that county board. 

For more general resources such as the BIVRI or census collections,  online or not,  you should make a request in the main Census Requests board.
