 I don't suppose there's anyone out there who just happens to live in/close to Linton in Lindale???
There are a whole raft of researchers descended from a chap called Dakin - their oral history relates to Linton Hall and the Fountain Inn - both at Linton.
What these Dakin researchers would dearly love would be to have photographs of both the pub and of Linton Hall.
I just wondered if anyone who just happened to be close...and just happened to have a digital camera...might just be kind enough to take a few photos - and make the very extensive Dakin tribe do this->

Thanks for your message...it's been so long I'd forgotton I'd posted that one!
In the meantime, I discovered the pub's proper address is: The Fountaine Inn, Linton in Craven, Wharfedale.
So I think it's on the right board isn't it??
In any event, if you're trying to 'tidy up', I'm quite happy for you to ditch this request.
