Hi there

You mean a family crest that is connected with your family - not your family crest.

The crest belongs to one person only - it changes everytime for other members of the family - 1st son, 2nd son, etc.

Send a message to someone or even yourself with your crest attached at the bottom (like adding a census scan to a message) this will then get your crest on the web.

Now it is on the web (prefably in rootschat) right mouse click on it, go to properties and get the address of the pic on the web.

Now post that address into the space in your profile where it says something like 'I have my own pic'

It then should come up in your profile

Hi Celia,

Try this to get your pic into your profile Smiley

Go to your pic that you posted above

Place your cursor over it and right click once and a box will open

Click Properties and a box will open and you will see a bit that says Address:(URL)

Put your cursor over the bit that says http and then click your left mouse button and keep it pressed down and then drag your cursor over the other writing and it should become highlighted.

When you have highlighted the whole address release the left mouse button.

Ok so far? nearly done Smiley

Place your cursor over the highlighted address and right click and the select Copy.

Now go to your profile page and click forum profile information and using the same technique as before highlight everything thats in the box next to "I have my own pic"and then press the delete on your Keyboard, the box should now be completely empty.

Left click in the empty box to place the flashing cursor and then right click and select paste and it should copy in the address to your pic Smiley well that's the theory  Undecided

I hope this helps,if it doesn't work we'll have to try something else,Mick Wink
