Could some kind person help me out. My g,g,grandfather was Patrick Dodd b.(c) 1795 and married to Ann Connolley. He was transported to Australia in 1828. His father was John and his mother Mary ?. I wish to know, if possible, as to the Townland he may have come from.  Patrick's death certificate states that he was from Meade, however, I cannot find any information on that name. Any help would be appreciated.

Co Meath is correct term.

Thank you Billiejo. It must have been the accent, as Meade was written as the County, instead of Meath.
