Hi Celia I have just found this site on Rake lane Cemetry, Could you do a look up for me, My Grandfather Henry Etherington is Buried there around 1963-4?,also his Wife Jane in 1946/7,he used to work at this cemetry as gardener/grave digger in the 1930/40's? mabe even earlier,I also think my mums last child was buried in the bottom of grandmothers Coffin in Jan 1954(age 4-5weeks old).all Church of England I think, also I noticed you had a site on MN Mi's,well I have been searching for info on my uncle Albert, who was lost at sea some time between 1939 and middle of 1941, all I know is that he went to sea with my dad on convoy's in WW11,and was lost,so if you come up with anything on these family members it would be gratfully appreciated. regards

Hello Albert A lot of my request come from abroad so i am always glad to help I will do your look-ups, then later i will see if i can find any info on your uncle Albert. My dad was also lost at sea,on the Malta convoy early 1943. The Etherington name is ringing bells for some reason.I will get back to you in the next couple of days.

Albert thanks for the update I have to go back to the burial lookups tomorrow. I did look for Jane in 1946/7 but she wasn't in 1947 and 1946 was split on 2 films. It was getting late and i didn't have time.I will get back to you tomorrow i am also hoping i can find a newspaper report about Frederick.

Albert I have found Jane & henry, but there are no Ryan burials at all C.O.E. in the given years. So they might be on the Non.con film,i had thought to find Amy Etherington to give me clue to the burial Section,of the first Amy.Unfortunately it would take too long looking for a burial month by month over 4 years on a film.So can you narrow the death down for Amy E and see if you can find a registration. Then i can look in the Non Con burial registers
