Hi Again
I thought i would have another look at the website as i only had a quick one last time in the spring. I was just messing about really and put grandads name in.He was a commander and taken from the merchant Navy By the royal Navy,on-loan Grin  So was a R.N.R. He was easy to find and i had all his sea life records didn't i? Not so Roll Eyes I just found him in the New York passenger Arrivals List (Ellis Island) 1892-1924 arriving 17th Aug 1924.I knew he went to that part of the world,I haven't looked in the Jones file for a long time, but i know i haven't got that information. It slipped the net, there cant be anyone else has a name like my granddad.I had to dig the folder out to check his birthdate and make sure it was really him.It was Grin seems he is on 2 passenger list both to N.Y different years. Taking a snapshot hasn't worked properly because i have to take two halves.I then tried the save to your computer Pin board or something. So i saved all,now i cant find them on my computer.Anyone know where they went Huh

Celia

did you ever locate them Celia? sometimes items saved from online go into your temporary internet files folder - if you haven't cleared it in a while they might still be there...

This site has me completely confused - not difficult  Grin

I have some indexed records from the Cheshire Parish Project site but wanted to see if there was anything I haven't got here.

I click on the world map for Europe, put in a surname I know should be there, place 'Nantwich' (Click their Nantwich link from the drop down menu) but I draw a blank?

Parmesan,

The Nantwich parish registers on the CPR project are complete up to the 1870s whereas the ones on familysearch are not.

From what I remember there are only early records for Nantwich on family search under the cheshire records (with images) and some later records that come under England baptisms etc. (without images)
