Can someone please check the census for a Thomas Hartland born 1862 in Pershore Gloucestershire Carter.
Would like parents names etc and any other siblings.
Also interested in marriage of Thomas Hartland and Sarah Jane (last name unknown) Sarah was born in Tipton, Staffordshire about 1865.
Appreciate any information that you can provide.

How far is it to Bethlehem?

If you search FreeBMD http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl, you will find a marriage record for a Thomas Hartland in Sep Q 1885, Dudley registration district (covers Tipton) with a Sarah Jane Madew on the same page (ref. Dudley 6c 163).
The closest match I could see for her on the 1871 census was a Sarah Jane Meadow, b. Tipton c1867, but can't really be sure without her father's name.

I think this is William and Mary Ann in 1861 - apparently it was a second marriage for her.
RG9/2098 - Folio 140 - Pg 73 Burfield, Upton on Severn
William Hartland Head 26 [Illegible occupation] b. Chacely
Mary Ann " Wife 27 Charwoman b. Upton
John Tyler Son 5 b. Upton
James Tyler Son 3 b. Upton
From FreeBMD: marriage record with William Hartland and Mary Ann Tyler on the same page, Upton district, Mar Q 1861 (ref. Upton 6c 323).
On the 1851 census, William was an errand boy for a draper named Frederick Bluck in Tewkesbury - no other Hartlands at that address.
