Could someone please do a lookup for the following people:
Thomas DORRINGTON age abt. 45
Ann DORRINGTON (Wife) age abt. 43
In 1861 they were in Tidenham, Glos.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Arranroots
Just wanted to clarify something with you. The two Reeks are living in the same property as my Dorrington's yes? and who is Mary Ann Reeks the wife of? is she probably formerly Dorrington therefore Thomas and Ann's Daughter Mary A. Dorrington who was b. abt. 1853?

Yes, that is my interpretation of the enumerator's marks: two families within one building. If I remember correctly the house name was dittoed too. Can check that though.
There is no husband present for Mary Ann and I would share your opinion that she is formerly DORRINGTON and hubby is away. Can you find them in 1881? I suspect she went home to have the baby. (You know how it is!!  )

Just double-checked and Mary has a separate schedule number and "Red House" is written beside both.

Nope, nearest is a George REES, but he is at home "son unmarried".
Sorry!
He is with his grandmother Mary REEKS in Woollaston in 1861 however, aged 10, born Woollaston. So he does exist!
Will look for him in 1851...

No, he must have been born after the census in 1851.
There is another, slightly older, George in Tidenham, but they are both around at the same time, so it is not him.
