I would be interested in any further information about Christina Sutherland
Census 1841/51 Lookups etc. She was the mother of Williamina Campbell my great grandmother.

Found the following children of Hector Sutherland/Margaret Reid, born/christened @ Wick, Caithness on ScotlandsPeople :

28/11/1823 - Christian

03/06/1825 - James

01/01/1832 - Alexander

02/07/1835 - Margaret

As you can see from the following census there were other children whose births do not seem to have been recorded......

1841 census for Sarclet, Wick-Caithness :

I have Alexander MANSON born 29 Oct 1841 Wick to William MANSON & Christina SINCLAIR, married to Christian SUTHERLAND 28 Feb 1851 Wick. Christina SINCLAIR was the daughter of Alexander SINCLAIR (farmer at Gansclett which is by Sarclet & Thurumster) & Elizabeth SINCLAIR, Alexander SINCLAIR being the son of John SINCLAIR at Gansclett & Christina/Christian CALDER, John being the son of Donald SINCLAIR the sailor, son of David SINCLAIR of Broynach and his second wife Janet EWING/ EWAN.

A correspondent at genesreunited has a second marriage for Alexander MANSON to Catherine SUTHERLAND on 20 Sep 1872 at Lower Pulteneytown Wick.  Appears the latter pairing had at least 7 issue one of whom being Christina MANSON married Charles BAIN 29 Dec 1905.

I am interested in the descendants of Christian SUTHERLAND & Alexander MANSON because of Alexander's SINCLAIR's ancestry, they wil be related to me.
