Hi
I'm looking for info on my g gfather.
Starting with birth is best place I suppose.
Harold Denis Radford 1898/99 St Ives England.
he married a Mary Noreen Beecroft I believe 1919 Huntingdon?
They had Frederick Arthur 1920 and Denis Aylmer in 1922 before coming to Australia.
If anyone can find their births/marriage it would be greatly appreciated.

This is probably the family on the 1901 census but as the entry looks more like Rusford you would need to verify parents with that birth certificate. However there is definitely a Harold Radford born 1873 St Ives on the 1891 census and no sign of a Harold Rusford so it is looking good

As I cannot seem to find Mary's birth on free resources and can't see any signs of a Beecroft family in Huntingdonshire in 1901 we will need some indication of her age and father's name from the marriage certificate.
Would you like the 1891 informaton on the Radford's?

Thanks a lot.
I've got scanty details of further back including newspaper cuttings etc but thought I should start at the beginning properly as nothing had been looked up or double checked for proper dates and errors etc.

I'd love the info.
His father was Harold Joseph Radford - lived to an old age and served on the council for many years I believe.
Regarding Mary BEECROFT - I'm not home at the moment so will have to wait until I get the details I have on her.
I'll post them as soon as I can. Thanks heaps.

This looks like the birth reference of the first Lucy which will give mother and her maiden name. You could then check this against the birth cert of one of the elder children to see if she is the same person.

Can't find Arthur or Frank on 1891 - must be doing medicine somewhere 
In 1881 both Arthur and Frank are scholars at Trent College Long Eaton, Derbyshire
This was a Public School founded in 1868. Now an independent selective school for 10 -19 year olds.
