Hi I am trying to trace the family of Joseph Plumridge and Ann nee Dodd (b.1824). I have found some of the family in the 1881 census but need to check out from 1851/ 1861 census to see if I have the correct family members. Joseph and Ann Plumridge I think had 10 children Sarah Kate chr.1849 Joseph Henry chr.1851 George chr.1853 Edward chr.1855 Ann Maria chr.1857 Charles chr.1860 Elizabeth chr.1862 Mary Ann chr.1864 William chr. 1866 Arthur chr.1869
The family appears always to give Upon cum Chaley or Slough as birthplace and that is where they are all christened.
Many thanks for any help. Helen

Hi Tanja
Many thanks. This is my family. In 1881 census Ann Plumridge is a widow living in Wellington Street, Upton cum Chalvey with her unmarried sons Edward, Charles and Arthur.
My interest is in the 2 eldest brothers Joseph Henry Plumridge and George Plumridge who marry 2 sisters Emma Pusey and Ann Pusey in 1875 and 1877 from Farnham Royal. They are in Upton cum Chalvey in 1881 census. After that I am not sure.
so once again many thanks for your replies. Helen

Hi Tanja
Yes this information is very useful. I am very grateful to you and thank you for a quick look up. I will now sit down and study all the information that you have given. These are new family branches for us to explore as I descend from Ann and Emma youngest sibling Henry and I did not know anything about his siblings until your postings.
Many Thanks Helen
