Rochdale street name 1870s

Apparently, one of my ancestors lived at 13 brickcroft in Rochdale in 1871. This street/place? no longer exists. I have a map of the area (Spotlands/Wardleworth) for 1901, but I can't find it anywhere (neither can I find it via the 1851 ordanance survey map online). There is a Brickcroft social club in existence now on the High street in Rochdale, which may have some connection. I just wonder if anyone knows if Brickcroft was a building/collection of buildings rather than an actual street in 1870s (perhaps mill accomodation). How would I find this out?

Hello....Brick croft was near Toad Lane,in the centre of Rochdale.  If you contact Rochdale Local Studies Library, they are very helpful and might be able to give you full information.
