Could sks please have a look for Ann PHILLIPS in the 1841 census for Crediton?
She should be single, aged about 16 (born c 1825) in Crediton. Her occupation may be related to needlwork as she is a dressmaker in later censuses.
There may be a brother in the household, but I have no info on her parents.
Ann married in Exeter in 1850 to John HOOKINGS a coach maker.
There is a later association with Exeter Street, Crediton, but this might be a red-herring!

From being at a total standstill, I think I am making some progress here! Will follow up both families to see what becomes of them.
The Exeter Rd family is my favourite at the moment!
