Thomas Henry Bull b-1858(Source marriage cert in 1885 when he eloped to Swansea to marry and 1901 census)birthplace Exeter(source 1901 and family knowledge)occupation Builder fathers name Joseph Bull(source marriage cert)his occupation Mason.However there is no birth cert for Thomas b-1858 Devon father Joseph.Also no sign of him on any census til 1901 when hes living at 20 Gainsborough Rd,Hackney,London.In 1891 his wife Fanny is living with her parentsJames ,Eliza Manning  and children at Score Cottage Ilfracombe no sign of Thomas.However have found Thomas Henry Bull b-1852 Broadclyst Exeter a Builder father Joseph(Occup Ag Lab) and can find this Thomas on 1861,71 and 81 census and not on 1901.So have come to conclusion they are the same person.However Thomas b-1852 was married in 1881 living in London.This means if they are the same person Thomas lied about not only his age and fathers occupation but he stated he was a bachelor when he was either widowed or divorced or not?when he married Fanny in  Swansea in 1885 we know that they eloped and that Fanny had lied about her age to marry but not about Thomas.Please can someone advise me and can anyone find Thomas in 1891 in Devon.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Sorry this is so long.Welsh Lady

I cannot answer your query but have auqery to add to yours!!
I have also searched 1858 for your man and nothing.
I don;t think you can assume the one you found to be yours due to the number of inconsistencies.
I also have an ancestor who was born between April and Oct 1858 who I cannot find.
Is anyone aware of any "issues" with the year of 1858?
I have found her on all available census returns, her marriage age, age at death, etc all match back to these dates.
All of her siblings, I have found, bar one - so the did register the birth od their children - anyone any ideas?
