Hi
I am looking for a marriage. John ALLEN married Susannah c1812 at Corfe Mullen, or nearby. They were my ggg grandparents. There seems to have been another John ALLEN and Susannah having children at the same time at Wimborn Minster, but I cannot find a marriage for either of them.
Their first child (John ALLEN) was baptised on  18 May 1813  at Corfe Mulen.
I am also looking for John's parents and birth/christening. but can find nothing.
Any help would be muchly appreciated.

Hi

Just looked on the british Isles Viral Recods index only one marriage in corfe mullen for a JOhn allen and that was too late in 1847 to Jane davis Not sure if the records for Corfe mullen have been completely transcribed on the BVRI or are still ongoing

The son's birth is on the BVRI but does not give mother's surname according to the BVRI they had 5 children between 1813 and 1844

sorry i could not help with marriage if you need childrens details from BVRI I can send them

This is a pay site - but not too expensive. I have found some good Dorset records here. A quick search (free) gives some possibilities.

The Dorset Parish Clerks have the census including 1840 for Corfe Mullen
