In order to further the search for Hermon HOOKINGS Daddy, about whom extensive reading is available here:

I would very much appreciate a look-up for the details of his 2 marriages. There is just the remotest chance that he mentions his father's name and that is what we are after!

Dec quarter 1899, St Thomas
Hermon Albert HOOKINGS
Mary Ann BEER
Marriage 2
June quarter 1905, Crediton
Hermon Albert HOOKINGS
Rose Alice WARREN
Mary Ann HOOKINGS died, hence the second marriage.
I would be very grateful for this information.
