If you are still doing lookups - I have another with a queried page number on FreeBDM
viz  Marriages Jun 1874 MILES  Charles Thomas     Christchurch  2b 1_08
Can you read the actual page number and/or see if there is a lady called
Mary Waller on the same page. Many thanks

Hi Trish,

The ref number for Charles Thomas Miles is June qtr 1874 Christchurch 2b 1008.
I have checked for Waller but there isn't anyone who married in the same quarter at Christchurch.

Hi Sandy,

If you happen to have any credits left, please could you look up the marriage of Walter Thomas Bateson and Annie Kent for me?  It was in the December quarter of 1898 in St Saviour London.

Kind regards and many thanks

Hi Sandy,

Hit the wrong key AGAIN - one of my bad habits.

Info needed is : Death of John William Chivers, born 1802/3 ( he had a son of the same name who died around 1896 so not the same one ) think after 1871 as this was the last census he apeared on and wife then listed as widow. Death of William Phipps some time after 1871 and think possibly about 1874 - he was born in Strand, London around 1867 and there are literally hundreds of people of that name - he was on 1871 census living at 15 Catherine St Westminster and finally, birth of William Antliff about 1868/69 possibly in Leicestershire/Notinghamshire as his father Joseph claimed

Hello Sandy, if you still have credits I would love a lookup:
I have a marriage which would have been in Drighlington (civil district of Bradford) between a Tom COOPER and Susannah SYKES

- I searched manually from 1837 to 4Q 1841, based on the fact that their oldest child George's birthday is listed as about 1840 (?) - but he may have been possibly illegitemate (?)
On 1841 census both are unmarried and Tom is with his parents, by 1851 we have:

Tom Cooper head married age 30 Butcher born Adwalton
Susannah Cooper wife married age 32 Butchers Wife born Drighlington
George Cooper son age 11 Scholar born Drighlington
Mary Cooper daughter age 3 Scholar born Adwalton
John Cooper son age 1 born Adwalton
Charlotte Cooper daughter age 1mth born Adwalton

Tom died in 1856 and Susannah remarried sometime between census 1861 and 1871 to a William BLAKEY of Drighlington, so should be registered in same area. (no-one has done much freeBMD in bradford area)

Hi Dinky,

I have looked bewtween 1850-1860 for the marriage of Joseph Carpenter and Fanny Banner.
The only Fanny/Frances Banner to wed during that time was Dec qtr 1853 at Basford 7b 234, but unfortunately there isn't a corresponding Joseph Carpenter for the same reference.
I did notice that the whole quarter for June 1858 is missing from 1837online so I suppose thir marriage if there was one could have been then or it may have been after 1860.

Kind Regards

Hi b.c. rayson.

Not as much help as I would have liked but I'll list you my findings

1. Death of John William Chivers
Most of the deaths bewtween 1871-1881 have been fully transcribed on Freebmd, but I have looked up any quarters/years that haven't, there isn't anyone who matches. The most fitting one is the John
Chivers who appears on Freebmd and died in the June qtr of 1871 aged 69 - ref Clutton 5c 425 - don't know if this is the right area as you didn't mention where he lived.

2.Death of William Phipps - again checked quarters/years not fully transcribed and just came up with 1 which might fit.
It is William Henry Phipps who died in the June qtr of 1876 at Wycombe 3a 297 - it is impossible to read his age but it is definately only a single figure which would tie in with him being born in 1867 ish.
3. Birth of William Antliff - checked by the same procedure
and found 2 that again might be them but not Derby/Nottingham although Grantham isn't that far from Notts.
a.) William Antliff June qtr 1869 Grantham 7a 437
b.) William Henry Antliff Sept qtr 1868 Strand 1b 548

There is a William Antliff of the right age on the 1881 Census born and living at Heanor(don't know why I didn't find his birth registered )according to the info given, but his father was William and not Joseph.

Hope this of some help
Regards

Hi Andy,

Have been trawling the site since your posting but without much success I'm afraid.
There is not a Kenneth Eaton's birth registered in 1926/7/8,
however there is a Kenneth Horner (mothers names also Horner)
so she wasn't then married to Albert James Eaton.
That was in Pancras Dec qtr 1928 ref 1b 110.
I have checked the next 3 years and cannot find a marriage between Agnes and Albert.
As regards the death of Albert James Eaton I have checked 20 years i.e 1950-1970 and there are quite a few Albert Eaton's, but there  are three who match quite closely

Albert J Eaton died Mar qtr 1963 aged 73 Worthing 5m 1224
Albert Eaton      "    June "   1954   "    63  Middlesex 5f 29
Albert Eaton      "    Dec   "   1952  "    60 Poplar 5d 310

Of course he may have died before or after this, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Don't know that this is going to be much help for you, but let me know if I can do anything further

Regards
Sandy Q

Hi Sandy

Just thought I would let you know how thinks have progressed.
I eventually got to grips with 1837online myself and have now found that Albert and Agnes did indeed marry in 1917. I am now awaiting a copy of their marriage certificate. Should be a few  Grin in Australia.
I am still searching for Alberts death but with renewed enthusiasm.

All the best
Andy
