Could anyone give a link to finding out how to find my ancestors named Mathieson who lived in Belfast in Northern Ireland in 1900 as I remember my grandfather Thomas Mathieson(Tommy), who used to live at 21 Julia Street, Belfast, around 1974 when I was 12 yrs old, he died not long after that , maybe 1978 but he was still living at that address when he died. Any information would be gratefully received as this is part of my family tree that I have not been able to get a hold of as yet as  my mother passed away about 14 yrs ago and any information that she had has gone with her. I have had some information back regarding my Grandfathers step children who emigrated to Australia, they were called Colin  Charles Rice and Joseph Wallace  Robertshaw Rice. as I have been in contact with Joe's daughter Maureen, but have recently lost contact with her, why I do not know? I do remember that my grandfather Tommy came over to this country in 1974 when I was 12 yrs old as I was already away with my cousin in a caravan when he came over and I cut my holiday short to be with him.
So as I said I would be grateful for any information that I can get on this topic.

In the 1962 street directory there is Thomas Mathieson at 21 Julia St.
In the 1973 directory there is a Emma Mathieson at 21 Julia St.
Julia St in east Belfast your family would not be hard to find infomation on.

I have a E Mathieson labourer living at 21 Julia St 1949
also i have a Alan Mathieson living at 66 Dee St 1949.
Julia St is off Dee St could there a connection any help to you.
