Elizabeth Arthur (various spellings) married Charles Bromwich Buswell on 4 February 1841 at Desborough Parish Church, and was probably living with him and his father Richard in Desborough in the 1841.
I say probably because Charles had a sister Elizabeth born in Desborough in 1824 and I can't distinguish between them in an 1841 census, nor find the missing one. By 1851 she was a widow living with her father in law. (but identified as daughter just to confuse me) and two children.
My problem is that I can't find out anything about Elizabeth prior to her marriage. The marriage appears not to have been registered. I looked for it the hard way at St Catherines years ago.
Does anyone have access to Desborough Parish registers who could name her father for me please or have any knowledge of the Arthur family who were in Burton Latimer around 1822.
