HAMILTON in Mayo
« on: Sunday 16 August 09 23:08 UTC (UK) »

I am researching William Hamilton Parker who lived at Westport, at least from 1831 to 1846.  I am intrigued that his middle name may be a link back to some of his origins.

In the same 1846 Slater's Directory as Parker is

Surgeons: Burke, Thomas Hamilton, FRCSI.

Listed in the Gentry, living in Higgins street are

Hamilton, Miss Ann
Hamilton, Mrs Mary

In the listings in Castlebar:

"County Gaol, Church st - Rev James Hamilton, local inspector, Glebe House, Balcara" .....
"Rev John Hamilton, presbyterian chaplain, Turlough."

I am wondering if any of these Hamiltons are connected.

Thanks and regards

Bill.
