thanks to everyone who helped me find my sheppard family in lower Sapey, I wonder if anyone could help me find the whereabouts of William Shephard in 1851 living in the lower sapey area, i am hoping to find out who was his parents

william Sheppard (shephard) according to the census records of 1871, 1881, and 1901 puts his birth between 1830 and 1832, and his birthplace was Lower Sapey. thanks

it certainly seems that this is william, he is the right age and the right birthplace. and he is working as a servant not to far from lower sapey. his father as I have found on his Wedding Certificate in May 1857 was named James Shephard, but he was deceased, I wonder if he was alive in 1851 or that his wife was still alive and living in Lower Sapey as a widow?

You need a lookup in 1841.

thanks Cp your Information has helped a lot. I will try and find out to see if Worcester record office has the 1841 census, or I might have to go to bromyard to find out when James Sheppard died
