I think the Milne family of Inverurie Aberdeen immigrated to New Zealand .The family were John Milne c1811 Elspet nn Bodie c 1811/13 Peter c1835 Isabella c 1837 Elspet c 1841 John c 1843 Charles c1847 and George c 1849.If anyone can help out it would be great. I am researching from Australia  KIm

There is an entry for an Elspet MILNE in the NZ Society of Genealogists First Families Collection, ref FAMC00622. You might want to contact them at http://www.genealogy.org.nz/ to see if they can provide the contact details of the submitter.

Any idea of the time period in which they might have emigrated to NZ?

hi thanks for your time, the last entry i have for the Milnes in Scotland is 1881 census. I cannot find their deaths in scotland. they were 77 & 74 in 1881 and had their son George living with them. Thanks
