Hi Everyone

I am trying to trace the christening records of my 3 x great grandfather JAMES CONNORS however I do not know his actual town/parish within Kilkenny.

I know he was a convict and tried on 29/06/1847 in Kilkenny for killing sheep and was transported to Australia (arr 26/08/1849).  Is it possible to obtain copies of his trial?

Any assistance or suggestions on who I should contact would be very much appreciated.
