Challenor - Hayfield 1861
« on: Friday 25 November 05 07:57 GMT (UK) »

Hi,

would it be possible for someone to look up a family of Challenors living in Hayfield in 1861?

The head of the family was a William Challenor aged about 40.

The name Challenor could have been spelt in a number of ways.

Many thanks

Jean Sandra

Hi,

sorry, no idea.

Just seen a reference to a William Challioner in Hayfield in 1861.  Hopefully he could be the brother of my Richard Challenor in Furness Vale but don't know.

Regards
