1901 Census

Does anyone know if the 1901 census included anyone in the armed forces stationed abroad at time of census.
I have been unable to find my grandfather in the census. I know he was in the army at some point but I don't know when. He would have been 19 in 1901.  The only thing I can think of is that he was overseas when the census was taken.

the 1901 contains a section fro the royal navy but not sure about armed forces what was his name and approx date and place of birth

            He was William Thomas Rob(b)ins born 1882 at Alvescot Oxon.   Thanks for any information you may find.

If he joined a local regiment it may possibly have been the Ox and Bucks light infantry

I think this maybe him in 1901!!
If this is him - I don't know if Upper Heyford is close to Alvescot - this is a military hospital and William Robbins is a nurse!
