Hello again,
Couple of look-ups in The Sussex Mariage Index please 
Looking for
1) Marriage of Edward HAMBLETON (poss. HAMILTON) to a Sarah - child Maria b. abt 1809 in Tillington
2) Marriage of Thomas SCUTT to Mary - child Richard b. abt 1798 Thakeham
3) Marriage of Richard SCUTT b. 1798 of Thakeham to Ruth of Pulborough b. 1803 - 1820s-30s??

Hi Gougy,
This is the only marriage between an Edward & Sarah of the right dates, although it's 13 years before the birth of Mary, presumably she wasn't the first child.
Kirdford, West Sussex, 13 Oct 1786
Edward Hambleton from Tillington married Sarah Peacock otp
Storrington, West Sussex, 9 Jan 1780:
Thomas Scutt married Mary Greenfield.
Arundel, West Sussex, 21 Apr 1826:
Richard SCUTT, widr married Ruth Sivier sp botp
Can't be sure of Richard's first marriage. The only one that looks likely is 11/9/1819 to Ann Goodjar at Bury West Sussex.
