i don't know if this is asking a bit much but could someone find information about the marriage of Henry Edward Armstrong and Rose Skinner in Brighton, 1874? I need to know the name of Henry Armstrong's father. they were married at St. Peter's church.
I hope someone can help.

HI Danielle,
Mariage was in Brighton (as you said) September Quarter Vol 2b p318.
With theses details you can go to http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/ and request a copy ) marriage certificate (£7).That should have his father's name on it.
Don't know of any other way of getting it.
However on 1861 census there is a Henry Armstrong living in Brighton with mother Elizabeth (b abt 1827 London Middlesex.)
Any help?

HI Danielle have you tried searching

for Armstrong marriages - just had a quick look and found
Thomas Whithed Armstrong on same page as Elizabeth Reynolds in London Dec 1848.Longshot i know but may find something.

Hi danielle,
Henry Edward Armstrong age 26 (father Henry Armstrong) married Rose Skinner age 23 (father William Julius Skinner) on 16 July 1874 at St. Peter's Church.
That's the best I can do.

Ian, don't think we got the cert, but will contact father-in-law to see if we got the information needed. Can always try to answer any questions to help you. I know we still haven't got very far back on this line though.
