Trying to trace the history of Joseph Swift born about 1798 in Wellington Shropshire.

I have been able to gather some 1851 data, but what I am really looking for is who else lived with the following (some other 1851 census tidbits):

Phoebe Swift - 55 - Wellington Salop piece no 1997 folio 456
Joseph Swift - 53 - Wellington Salop piece no 1997 folio 456
Joseph Jnr - 15 - Wellington Salop piece no 1997 folio 456

If there is some nice soul to help, I would like to see if anyone else lived with this family, and any detail where they lived or did.

Hi Bill

I'm afraid I can't help you with the 1851 info but we have a similar interest.

Joseph Swift's brother, William (1792) was the father of Eliza Swift (1822) who married John Mitton (1815). They were my 3xG Grandparents.

I do have some info on Joseph and Phoebe's children, if you would like it let me know

Joseph SwiftHEAD Mar 53 Labourer
Phoebe  do WIFE Mar 55 Labourers wife
Thomas do  SON  Un 20 Labourer
John do 19 SON Un 19 Labourer
Joseph Swift ( someting else is written which I cant decipher did he have a double barrel?) SON 15 Labourer
All born Wellington.
My copy is not too good and part of the address is cut off but all else seems accurate.

just found them on 1841 HO107/907-03
Wellington Watling Street
The Lane is called Street Lane believe it or not.
Joseph Swift 45 Ag lab Y
Phoebe         47            Y
Eliza              15            Y
Thomas          12           Y
John                10          Y
Joseph              5           Y
This census gives less detail but  is a lot easier to read.
