Did anyone watch the program.
I found it very moving and based on a true accounts from diaries of theose that fought.

I too watched this and found it  very interesting as well as moving. One of those programs that you would want to watch again. It was dramatised well and, I thought, gave a sense of the soldiers feelings prior to "going over the top".

Very moving. I honestly don't know if I would have had the strength to do what they did. Made me appreciate the sacrifice they made all the more.

      You may surprise yourself, When you have to - it's amazing what you can do. These guys were in a position where there were few choices. Now don't get me wrong on this - it doesn't make actions any less heroic, but I only wish that more people realised that they do have what it takes, we all have it somewhere.
