Hi, Could anybody please look-up a Charles Roskelly born about 1801. Parents were Richard Roskelly and Elizabeth Parkins. He was born in Cornwall and emigrated to Australia in 1839.

Can't help directly.

Suggest that you look at the 1841 Cornwall census on freecen.rootsweb.com to find other Roskelly's, and start looking at the churches in those villages. I don't know what the geographical spread of that surname would be.

Yes. This is the Charles I am looking for. Can you please tell me where you found this. I have found Richard and Elizabeths marriage in 1799 in St. Pinnock, but haven't found any of their children.

I have transcribed the baptisms for this parish, so the information was taken from the actual parish registers for St. Pinnock.

Four and a half years after your Roskelly thread concluded I discovered your thread on Rootschat which is relevant to the following information I found while googling several days earlier.  I have been assisting a friend with his Cornish antecedents (in this case Ratty/Rattey) and I can put you in touch with him if you require.
